Mechjeb isn't working in 1.4.5

I'm trying to use the Landing Guidance function but it won't land. It disables all use of the rocket (throttle, sas, warp) but it won't do anything beyond that. I've read conflicting posts on the matter so that's why I'm making a new post.

You are best off asking in the MJ thread itself, and providing all the required logs that the authors of MJ require for support.     But your first step should be to confirm that your version of MJ is appropriate for your version of KSP. 

But the landing AP is intended to lock out the controls so you can't mess it up.
