Throttle Issues

Recommended Posts

So. I spent hours on a build with the new ion/nuclear engines mod (new to me; I've been a vanilla player until this week.)

I built a great interstellar probe. Heavy as hell, so I figured I'd save the chassis and build a manned version. (Sub-assembly)

The first time it worked like a charm and I made interstellar orbit. But: I forgot to replace my solar panels :/

So: I revert, add the forgotten reflecty material, and get back to the launchpad only to find that my throttle is stuck at zero.

I'm talking Mjolner status refuses to move. Now: if I stage through it? The upper stages...as they're exploding...show full thrust and the throttle moves. So I figured it was a glitch in the sub assembly.

I recreated a sub assembly from my working probe chassis, and same result.

Please advise. I don't want to spend hours recreating this build only to find the same result.

Which mod?  There's quite a few of them out there.   Also a full mod list will be required.

We'll also need some pics or video of it happening to help diagnose it.

Like what duck said, You need to be specific in what you are describing.   When you hit shift, does the throttle indicator not move, or do the engines not react?

Like Gargamel said, which mods? Can we have names? Now, you call it an "Interstellar" probe, so does that mean you have more mods for other star systems? Or did you just build a huge ship that can "Escape" the sun's SOI? (Although you never really leave the sun's influence, no matter how far you go it will never say you are in interstellar space)
