How to calculate reentry to make spacecraft land on ocean few mile east from KSC

^that, but only for current stage. If you separate something, your new trajectory can be off by miles, and if the capsule is the only thing that is left, there is not much you can do.  What I do? I try to separate while I'm coasting sideways, as in, when I'm going east, as usual, I turn the rocket to the north and then separate.

If you arent averse to mods, I would recommend Trajectories. It predicts your path in the atmosphere and shows your landing spot. It takes into account both planet rotation and drag.
