First Mun Landings

I am relatively new to the game, and after logging in about 40 hours, I have finally managed to land on the mun!  It was especially hard because it was a dark side landing and I only had 6 lights to keep me for destroying all my (un-quicksaved) work. And without further ado, here are some of the screenshots that I took. I would also like to see any first mun landing post that you may have :)9671CCFC89575646647B47DD26A243F87D917496407D687E2A8734579F5CF0DB03330F3B4AF52170718D31383AECAFAE10C1BE97866B4077832E33CCD85236BF74A940CFD1120937436136C496DBCCDC2BEEA7779C739DE1D0F32E2ADD1B1F804EBDD8F3BFB86E362E82C268E09B512C166535F92337E91A

My first Mun landing was long ago. Not as long ago as @Vanamonde's but long enough that I don't have any pictures. If I even took any which I suspect I did not.

I still remember it though. It was in the demo and completing my Kerbin landing when done was the personal milestone I wanted to reach before deciding if the game was worth it.

At least you're better than past me, i was really frustrated just to get to orbit.

Turns out...

Spoiler

I forgot to use SAS and still think that a mere vertical ignition gives orbit.

First Mun rocket was so stupidly larger than my current Duna Rocket, close to my Tylo rocket (which has traces of my old Mun rocket in its design), i deleted my 1.0.4, where my first Mun landing was, by the way...Welcome to this forum !!!

(Failed to return from wasting fuel over 1000 meters above and not using Hohmann transfer properly)
