How to get craft file of an unsaved ship?

So i'm in a bit of a predicament, i just spent a few hours building an F-104 only to find out that a glitch i'v been having with downloaded ships, where i can't save/delete them, has claimed another victim.

I dont have the autosaved craft because i launched something afterwards but it is landed, outside the SPH. it is "in flight"

My question to you guys is how can i save this plane? i really dont want to build it again it took me three and a half hours.

What you are looking for is Ship Save Splicer:

This little mod can export a vessel and creeate a .craft file from it
