There goes my fuelcell . . .

Well, that is only the beginning of my problem, I can't just push the Tumbler back on it's wheels on the bridge, it's like ice.

I tried pushing it up the curbs but nope....

Only thing I can think of is take off the wheel, roll the Tumbler over and attach the wheel back on.

The Tumbler is half sunk into the bridge.

I knew it was going to do that. :sticktongue:

The odyssey continues....

The mod let's you build the whole bridge under 1 group, but when you drive beyond the range your rover just falls through the bridge like it does not excist.

But when you fly over the bridge with a jet you can only see the parts in range.

So for my longest bridge I had to build 2 connecting bridges.

This might not make much sence, but it's hard to explain.

When I come back craft that are parked on the KK part will jump up, that's why the Tumbler was upside down and I now fear for my jet.

I really think this is something similar or the same to what @whale_2's WorldStabilizer fix deals with.  It finds crafts that are slightly buried into the terrain and lifts them up prior to physics starting so they don't get Kraken-launched into the air or on escape trajectory from Kerbol.  Whether it will help with crafts on Kerbal Konstructs is another matter.

It would almost be easier if you'd put in a ramp and jumped the gap. :)

So KK can connect two sections of the same bridge smoothly but when it gets so big you need to put in 2 bridges, it doesn't do that.  Well, damn.

That's a rather deep question dude.  Maybe Pai Mei knows?

Are you starting to wonder whether you should have gone with a ferry?  @purpleivan's Coastal Cruiser would be great at that. :)

But damn the bridges are fascinating.  Too bad there's not a little less...challenging too.

Bet Edberry's thinking "Damn, should have done what Jeb would have done and jumped." :D

If he doesn't jump, I will.

Got stuck again, I don't have enough power to climb this curb.

I need to roll back and adjust that bridge part.

Now just plug that wheel back on and get the hell of this bridge.

It feels like the new adjustments are helping, we are pretty stable now.

But then again, the terrain here is pretty flat so that also helps keeping the Tumbler stable.

It's too dark to show the route, I'll show more when it's day again.

Good gravy, man. Can I build you a better rover? My standard Baja chassis would eat this for breakfast.

I sent him a good one. "The Limo". :D

Edit, how is it going GDJ ?

In real life? Busier than a toilet during a Diarrhea epidemic. Pulled in 4-12 hour days this week (Monday was a provincial holiday). Same old story: Overbooked for work, not enough bodies to do the work in quoted time normally, so it's OT for everybody. Makes the paycheques look good, but it's getting harder to get out of bed at 4:00 AM.

Gamewise? A bit slow. Getting the hang of KIS/KAS. Little bits of training here and there.

On a plus note: My AVRO Prop-Star (the twin turboprop in my last thread update) is one hell of a cargo plane. It can fly very well carrying it's own weight in cargo.

When you get to this “X” intersection make a monument on its location using kerbal konstructs to build a huge X using bridge parts! That would be awesome. &)

...and under it bury your treasure, 'cause 'X' marks the spot, me hearties! :)

Yikes, out of likes...

Happens all too often.  What do we get, 20 per day?  And it gets dished out every 6 hours or so, 5 at at time?  Maybe....

No driving today, I gave Edberry the day off. ^_^

I think that bridge crossing wore him out.

I think a giant pole would be more appropriate...

I'll show myself out...No need to sic Cary Grant on me...
