How to rescale Kerbin in 1.6.1.2401

Hi,

I've spent the past four hours downloading stuff haphazardly and restarting KSP,   trying to get a real scale Kerbin system for a challenge.

According to this post,  I need Sigma Dimensions and Kopernicus, but nothing seems to happen when I copy into Gamedata folder

am using v.0.10.1 of sigma (latest)

When this failed, I deleted all my mods,  and started over, manually installing

and its dependencies (incl. Sigma).

All this appears to do is add extra runways to a stock Kerbin.  Orbital velocities etc. are unchanged.  However,  the first post on the RSS thread indicates that installing  a fresh copy of KSP 1.4.5 is the first step,  so either i have to roll back to a much older ksp, or the thread's just not been updated in a while and that was the latest at time of writing.

@KerikBalm was able to get his working however on 1.6, if i'm interpreting his post correctly.

Moved from Add-On Releases to Add-On Discussions since this is more of a procedural question about using a mod (Add-On). The Add-On Releases section is supposed to be for threads that are actual releases of Add-Ons.

This is the problem. Kopernicus is version locked, therefore you have to use version 1.6.1-1 when using KSP 1.6.1.

Yea, seems like you got an old version.

I updated kopernicus, not sigma dimensions, and it worked. Kopernicus definitely needs to be up to date.

Magnifico,  Galileo.      I just went to the tracking station and Mun is 34 million KM away..

Real Solar System works fine in 1.4 and on. However it does not use Sigma Dimensions because it is already real size

Yea.. sigma dimensions is just for rescalingthe stock system, but keeping it fictional. RSS gives you the real size with real planets.

That said... it seems he's just interested in the challenges of SSTOing on a bigger planet (this started from a SSTO help thread, in which I was sharing designs for cargo SSTOs for a 3x kerbin, that work with huge margins on stock Kerbin)

But.... the real moon is only 360 thousand to 405 thousand kM away...a factor of 10 increase and its 3.4 million... did you somehow scale up RSS by 100 fold using RSS and sigma dimensions???
