Leslie Hamilton, Linda Hamilton's twin sister died.

While Linda is the Sarah Connor we know and love, Leslie was also an important part of the Terminator 2 filming, featuring in final scene where T1000 morphs into Sarah Connor, so there are two Sarah Connors in the same shot. No CGI.

She is also in a deleted scene at the gas station where they poke around Arny's head. Leslie is acting the mirror image. Again, no CGI.

Leslie was an ER and hospice nurse, devoted to helping others.

My grandma died yesterday... Turned out she had 4th stage of cancer, and no one knew until it was too late. My family and I were able to get to her home to say good bye back in July. Fortunately she was prepared for that, so we didn't have to panic that much.

Russell Kirsch, inventor of the pixel, passes away at 91

The computer scientist credited with inventing the pixel -- the digital dots that have been used to display photos, videos and more on phones and computer screens over the past few decades – has died this week at the age of 91.

Russell Kirsch passed away at his home in Portland, Ore., on Tuesday.

Kirsch brought pixels into reality in 1957 when he created a small, 2-by-2-inch black-and-white digital image of his son, Walden, as an infant. It was among the first images ever scanned into a computer, using a device created by his research team at the U.S. National Bureau of Standards (now the National Institutes of Science and Technology).

The image of Kirsch’s son, according to a Science News article, measured a mere 176 pixels on each side and was just shy of 31,000 pixels in total.

2020 shows its ugly face yet again.

James Randi (92), magician, sceptic, debunker (or as he prefered to say, investigator) of all things relating to pseudoscience,  and all around a great guy died on 20th of October, due to "age related causes".

His Educational Foundation lives on.
