He also was the co-creator of Tanguy & Laverdure with Charlier.

My favorite story in the collection, when stolen Harriers are used by a criminal organization to shot down airliners and try to drop a tactical nuclear bomb over Paris.

However, he only draw the first eight albums, Pirates du Ciel being his last. Still, his drawing was incredible.

Snowbird down an hour ago, latest reports have a pilot dead and one injured.

My wife is saying now that when she heard the Snowbirds were doing a cross-country fly-by tour, she had a feeling there would be a crash.

Captain Jennifer Casey. She passed away when her CT-114 Tutor went down over Kamloops and hit a house. Pilot ejected (Captain MacDougall) and suffered injuries when he landed on the roof of a house nearby. Currently he's in hospital in stable condition.

RIP Jennifer, and thanks for the show over Edmonton on Friday.

114161 was the one imply.

From a video available online, it appears they entered a dynamic stall at first, followed by the beginning of a spin. Given the angle at which they ejected, I'm really surprised the pilot survived.

Terrible for the the squadron’s public affairs officer ;.;

Video analysis shows a bird quite close (<1m) to the Snowbird after takeoff, so the possibility of a bird strike causing the crash is being looked into, but has not yet been confirmed

From the picture of the plane in the article I would say that may be our best resolution. It's certainly plausible, and a small engine like the one's in the CT-114 could be severely damaged by a bird.
