@benjee10 would it be possible for some sort of imitation hatch on the APAS port, so it doesn't look ugly on spacecraft? Like the CxA port?

The idea is that the port is just a mechanical attachment ring - it shouldn’t be crew passable if there isn’t a hatch under it already. It does have a switchable thermal cover which will cover up the node under it though!

Are you talking about the 1.25m port, or the 0.975m port, because I am meaning the 0.975m one (Sorry if this sounds rude.)

Ah, sorry I misread! Same thing still stands but I will probably be adding a switchable thermal cover to the APAS (with a little docking target) further down the line.
