Control From Here?

Guys,

 

Is there a way to set the "control from here" object in the vab?  I can change it on the launch pad, but I have added a fairing and now I can not select the part that is hidden within the fairing.

No, that sets the root part of the vessel.

I think you can set the control point via an action group though.

Setting it as the root of the vessel should make it the default "Control From Here" point.

Although on the PC version, you can manipulate the camera so you end up scrolling through the rocket from the top, don't know why you wouldn't be able to do that on console. (I've never played on console, though.)

If I ever have the need to set a non-default control point, I set "Control From Here" to the Staging action group.

You can put "control from here" to an action group. Comes in handy when building VTOLs.
