Scatterer is a graphical mod that adds realistic atmospheric scattering, ocean shaders (with transparency, sky reflections, foam, refractions and underwater effects), better sunflare rendering, godrays, terrain shadows and visible eclipse shadows! 

Compatible with the latest version of KSP and recently updated to include anti-aliasing and ocean shadows. Definitely a must have!

I have used Scatterer since I first discovered it back around .KSP .90 - Beta than Ever. In my opinion, this is one of the must have mods if you are really into the possible beauty of the game!

@SQUAD, have you considered  hiring @blackrack to implement this in the stock game? It really adds a lot to immersion and unique feeling  on each planet.

congrats Blackrack, your mod really makes checking out people’s screenshots of KSP a pleasure.

I just tried scatterer for the first time yesterday, and it looks a very nice, now i don't know how i'm gonna be able to play without it
