ISSUES UPDATING TO 1.6

I'm trying to update my KSP version to 1.6 but it's not showing up in my BETAS on Steam. It only goes up to 1.5.1. Am I missing something here? Please help! Thanks!

Yes, there is a way. AFAIK, you can get every KSP version since it was available on steam but it is a bit more complicated. Since this is not specific for KSP but possible with every steam game, there are a lot of tutorials on this topic. I like this one:

but you can find more by looking for "steam old game version" or similar on google

(Valve doesn't provide full download speed for old versions, so the download will take a lot more time)

KSP 1.6.1 is the latest game version, to upgrade your game to this version requires to set the BETA version to "none", but if you want for any reason to upgrade to 1.6.0, that's not possible via the BETA settings.

Thank you! This has been driving me nuts! I really do appreciate it! Not that I need to now but is there another way to get the 1.6.0 version?

Why would you want 1.6.0? 1.6.1 fixed several annoying (and in one case gamebreaking) bugs, and didn't break any mods.

I don't. I was just curious as to how to download older versions. But that is good to know. Thanks
