Can I add folders to organize my mods in Gamedata without it breaking?

Question

There isn't much to to say about the question. I have a bunch of mods and I would like to tidy my Gamedata file up.

I dont think so, sorry. Maybe try it with two mods that the removal of will not effect your save.

well for the most part no. although part only mods, or welded parts can be, if you are familiar with textures and editing of mods than sure. but anything that would be CKAN updating related ..I would say no.

I have not evaluated any differences in OS types however, so this would be per the windows OS.

that's not to say that the dev's and modder's(and the like) here cannot do it, I am sure they can. but for the casual user I would recommend leaving it as is.

The community as whole keeps the structure as it was intended and diagnosing issues would be problematic. adding complexities would make it worse.

Hope this helps
