Yes, also no mods!

Can we use autopilot mod though? Say AtmosphereAutopilot? And kerbal engineer?

These don't affect the aircraft ability, just make it easier to fly the plane for a long period of time

Is staying inside the atmosphere required? :)

So... Does staying in the atmosphere mean that everything below 70km is ok? :D can we use all kinds of engines?

Yes, you do have to stay under 70,000 meters. I might give you extra credit if you are below 50,000.

You can use these. Environmental effects and autopilot mod is allowed.

You may use all. But preferably jet engines.

A bunch of replies merged and looked ugly so I made it better.

I want you to make a plane that fly around Kerbin over the equator, and land on the runway!

To show proof you can post videos, pictures, etc.

Take your pick from the following - they can all go around Kerbin in a single continuous flight.

An Mk3 hull transport plane that will return back to the KSC within the hour: https://kerbalx.com/swjr-swis/Transport-3a

No worries circumnavigation - just go full throttle, settle on cruising altitude, and an hour later you will see the KSC again.

A drag race plane that can also go the distance: https://kerbalx.com/swjr-swis/SpeedyReturn-2b

Remember to fuel up, and run on half the engines for at least some of the way to make it all the way around, otherwise you'll end up just short.

A stock electric propeller first flight experiment to take a more leisurely tour around Kerbin: https://kerbalx.com/swjr-swis/Kerman-Flyer

The electro-props can run indefinitely and in the dark... so you can definitely circumnavigate with it. If you have the patience (at speeds of about 30-50 m/s).

Let me just say I absolutely love the use of antennae for strutting on this. Very smooth work. And those foreplane elevators are perfect.

Can you also teach me how to make stock propellers?

Nah, I'm not a fan of the things. Too many parts required, not stable during warp, etc etc, and really just a constant reminder of one of the major missing things in KSP: a single-part stock bearing.

I just really wanted the Kerman Flyer to specifically use props, so I reused and tweaked one of my own little experiments for it. It's very stable and does the job for the Flyer, but that's as far as I'll go.

There's other people out there who practically make a career out of stock props that have tried all sorts of designs and techniques. Do a search for the phrases 'stock prop' or 'stock bearing' and you'll get enough hits to be reading and experimenting for a while.
