Fortunately, my birthday was only a couple of weeks away, and my mom, who was in a good mood, said yes and that she will consider it with dad. KSP is more of an educational game than a shallow game like, say, bejeweled or Klondike solitaire (not saying they're bad, just that you don't learn anything from them).
