Steam Inventory

Recommended Posts

Today in the Steam client program I've suddenly opened (or may be it did it itself) some "<username> / Inventory",

There are two Kerbal pictures: "Ground Crew" and "Wernher von Kerman". Both are captioned as "collection card" which can be converted into gems or collection card sets.

Is this some additional playable content (kinda micro-DLC) or some user-made mods, or just commercial flyers?

Thanks in advance!

It's a Steam thing. I don't know the details because I don't care about this kind of thing, but I do know 2 important things:

1. You get them for playing the games that they're for.

2. They mean nothing inside the games themselves.

Apparently there is a marketplace for these, I think I sold mine for  ~$0.06 apiece. I cannot imagine who would want such a “thing “.

Usually, you can collect 8 cards of a predefined set to get a badge for your steam account. Then collect 5 more for a more fancy variation of the badge and so on...

Have never noticed ksp got cards though but I'll check my inventory when I'm   back home on Sunday ^^
