Replica I made with functioning turboprop engines using breaking ground and stock parts.

Thankfully it's not as loud as the real thing

Press AG1 to start the rotors, AG2 to turn on the fuel cells, and stage to start the jets.

Top Speed: 220 m/s at sea level

I'm new to "manual" crafts too. 

From tinkering with my Osprey, I found 1 big fuel cells per rotron +1 for anything else does a good job for keeping your craft going. You need to swap some tanks for LFO though.

As for flight, stacking two rotors on top of each other noticeably improve thrust. I don't think more will help due to game engine limits in rpm. My craft got from 40-ish mps to 85 which greatly improved flight characteristics.

I'll do some testing later. As of right now it's just two large rotations each with one set of rotors for each nacelle.  Since the thing is so heavy as is, I'm not confident in using a legitimate electricity set-up, but i'll look into it.
