Is there a way, using these parts, to implement coaxial lifting-rotors a-la Sikorsky S-97, or contra-rotating propellers like those on the Supermarine SeaFang?

There is!

The best way I have found is to attach one propeller as you normally would. Then attach the second to the main body of the aircraft (ie the same parent part as the first propeller), and offset it (use the offset tool) so that it exactly how you want it.

So, attach it to the parent-part and NOT to the turboshaft engine? Good to know.

Yeah exactly :) there are ways to do it with engine-on-engine but they’re fiddly and can be wobbly too. Offset works nicely.

How’d you go?
