KSP_x64.exe caused an Access Violation

KSP: 1.7.3.2594, Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Problem: CTD with Access Violation in error log

Mods installed: None

Reproduction steps:

Build a rocket with more than just a couple boosters, easy to reproduce using just a cockpit and 20+ boosters

This is with an absolutely clean install of Windows, steam and ksp, no mods etc.  I've run the windows memory diagnostic with zero errors, all drivers are up to date.  KSP is installed onto the D drive and i've ensured that all folders have had read-only removed.
