Camera freezes in VAB (PS 4)

Recommended Posts

New patch, new problems.

The camera freezes after being in the VAB for a moment. After a minute or two, I can't rotate the camera or move my vessel.

This also happens if I pause the game while in the VAB.

Only way to fix is to go back to space center. It's annoying having to do it every one or two minutes while building a new vessel.

This usually happens if you open an extra info tab on a part. If you put the cursor back in the parts tray and disable the extra info tab, the camera should start working again.

This is confirmed by me Sept 17 2004 on PS4 Enhanced Edition Version 1.08 last updated 9/4/2019.

I was frustrated by camera constantly freezing, suddenly no rotate, zoom, or pan available, had to exit to space centre to correct.

Now verified on my PS4 Kerbal locks camera if an info tab (square button) is left open on a component.

Edit: found this is a listed bug: Bug #23260
