After a few uses the menu won't work. Help?

Hey guys, so I've been experiencing this problem for a couple months. I go to start the game and it loads in fine and everything is clickable. But after using any menu elements a few times the game just won't let me click on them anymore, and not even clearing all locks in the debug menu it still doesn't fix the problem. Please help
