ok few things get a haswell cpu (ie 4xxx) gor Psu gow with something like these

for cpu cooler if you really want one get a 212 evo from cooler master.

also for your GPU get one of the new nvidia or amd cards (ie 7xx or RX 2XX)

and do you really need a "gaming' keyboard? why windows 7 not 8.1 ? also you do know that matx motherboards are smaller right ? do you really need a 512gb ssd?(they are stupid expensive) also on ssd get a 840 evo or pro from samsung.you can also get cheaper ram from samsung.

Brian, thanks for your advice. I did a review of the list changed some stuff and took in your advice. Here is my new list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1PQXK

Your list is pretty weird: 2.5" hdd, junk-level graphic card( you said you want to play GTA V on this build), postage-stamp sized display, etc.

My suggestion (win8, cpu cooler and mainboard are guesstimates, case is also a matter of taste obviously):

And yes, UK prices are weird. Many parts seem to be 1:1 to their price in Euro which makes it about 20% more expensive (VAT is similar to most euro countries).

I want quite a lot of space so I can partition the HDD, install all of my 60 steam games and its nice to have peace of mind that you wont run out of space.

I've added a mouse and a keyboard now and it comes to a neat total of £895.98.

Also anything else I need?

Ahh, done. Here is the final list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1PVwy

4 things....ok fine a few No ssd? Do you really need a"gaming" keyboard? For the cooler I would go with a 212 evo from cooler master. I would go with a 7970 for Gpu(just wait a bit and they should become really cheap) No tim?

Britain's prices are silly at times.

The 7950 is plenty quick, shouldn't have a problem there. The guys across the pond don't seem to have the new cards from AMD.

I don't see the need for 4TBs of Space, but if you need it you need it.

I dont think you really need an aftermarket cooler, but if you want one here is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo on Amazon UK. Its a good cooler for the money.

Here is an SSD i would recomend, Very fast for the price. only ~£20 more than a regular hard drive.

Be weary of your power needs.

We got them the same time as everyone else.

So...something like this would be good: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1PXN5?

The Kingston SSDs use the sandforce controller, i do not recommend sand-force based SSDs. The Samsung 840 Evo uses samsungs controller and is a little bit more than it but in my opinion is worth every penny.

I felt the same way about SSDs but now that i have one, there is no substitute.

Why Windows 7 Pro over 7 Home Premium?

Thanks, I believe withe the sand-force it is a part that can fail but the samsung hasn't got that part.

So, my parents have posed me with this question "What happens if you put it all together and it doesn't work?". They say I cant sell my laptop atm because of that issue. I have 1 small solution is to get my neighbourhood tech guy to build it for me for a small fee. Any other suggestions?
