KSP Loading... Preview: Ike & Minmus revamp.

Hey, Kerbonauts prepare your missions to return to Ike & Minmus!   
Continuing with the previews for the planets' revamp today we are sharing with you how Minmus and Ike will look like in the 1.8 update!

I think you should try to keep some of the sparkling affect from the old textures for Minmus's great plains.

Given the quality of the recent updates, I need to make a bot that auto-replies “Looks great! Thank you!” to all the KSP Loading posts. 

As mentioned above, though, a sparkly effect on Minmus would add a lot to this visuals if it’s not too much trouble. 

Never mind. You all seem to have thought of everything. I appreciate the subtlety of the sparkly effect! Looks great!

I saw that preview and immediately the John Tams lyrics to the old English folk song "Over the Hills and Far Away" popped into my head:

"Where duty calls me I must go

To stand and face another foe

But part of me will always stay

Over the hills and far away."

There is so much beautiful new terrain to be explored over the hills and far away. I can't wait.

What about different sounds for Kerbals steps for different geomes (step on ice, gravel, stone etc), oh and footprints!

It does sparkle! But now the grain is finer, when you move and get a nice light source the sparkle becomes more evident and goes moving reacting to the light source!
