Forum and backwards compatibility

Recommended Posts

Dear Kerbonauts,

I have two questions regarding KSP 2.

1: Will KSP 2 be accompanied by an entirely new forum or will this forum be expanded?

2: Will KSP 2 be backwards compatible and accept KSP 1 craft files (i know...wishful thinking)?

Kind regards,

Kind regards,

This forum will be expanded after a server update/upgrade.

No, KSP 1 craft will NOT work with KSP 2.

Maybe some modders create an craft-converter.

Doubtful, as models change and so do attachment points, mass, fuel, etc. Too much to figure out to port a craft. It would be easier just to rebuild the craft.
