Solar Panels won't extend/retract after last update?

I don't know why but none of the solar panels will extend or retract anymore after I installed the last update a few hours ago. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there something I can do to get them working again? My computer specs are... i-7 - 3770k @ 3.5GHz, 32GB RAM, Windows 10 Home 64-bit, 2X NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 in SLI, Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SSD where steam is installed.

Do you have Kopernicus installed?  It is version locked and among other things can cause issues with solar panels when the wrong version is installed.  I don't know if there is a 1.8 version yet, you'd have to check on the Kopernicus thread.
