I do miss No head lights on me space walks

What happened to the ( L ) button/ lights  since 1.8 no lights on helmets ?? any one else. will it be fixed or is this the game till KSP 2, I dont mind,  the game is not the same since I lost docking camera the only real realistic thing in the hole game, Still seeing real camera footage on the news, of docking to space station, KSP docking from  3rd person view, kills it for me. Still looking forward to ksp 2.

I hope you're kidding.  I've avoided 1.8 because you should always avoid a x.x.0 Squad release.  This seems like an odd thing to remove.

It's part of the lights action group which I believe is Now U.

U know that you press the key for lights in the vehicles?  U might like to try that one on EVA.  It changed before 1.8

Um, try the lights button to the right of the altimeter? Alternatively try actually looking at your settings to find the relevant key binds...

I always thought that [L] was not used for lights as it's part of RCS translation, [H] [N] [J] [K] [L], and so is for lights. Been that way for a while:
