Joystick no longer working after upgrade to 1.8

 Hello space-nerds,

since ksp upgradet to 1.8, my joystick no longer works. I can sill assign axis, so ksp recognises to joystick and assigned buttons will also work when flying a spaceship. However, none of the axis will work when flying. I use a Mad Catz F.L.Y.5 Flight Stick PC.

Any idea how that can be / resolved?

I use an USB XBox-Controller(-Clone) with the "Advanced Fly-by-Wire" mod, so I really don't have an an idea how the integrated joystick support works. Sorry for the no-answer.
