SVE Textures not showing up

Recommended Posts

Today i installed Scatterer, EVE, SVE and SVE Textures. I also updated ModuleManager. About two years ago i used these mods, and they worked fine. When i installed them today, i experienced an issue. The SVE Textures were not showing up in game. My GameData folder contains the EVE, SVE, and scatterer folders, and the SVE folder contains the SVE textures folder (and those other two folders it came with). Am i doing something wrong?

Just reinstalled the mods. Still the same issue...

I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue. I agree with @VoidSquid and just wanted to add that the log files are very helpful in diagnosing problems with modded installs but please host them on a storage service like google drive or dropbox and link them here because huge files can cause threads to have loading issues and cause problems for users on mobile devices.

Sorry about not providing this earlier. I am using KSP 1.8

Other than those three mods, i am also using Take Command, which still works fine on 1.8 for me.

Post a screenshot of your gamedata folder please

output.log says you're using KSP 1.7.3:

[KSP Version]: 1.7.3.2594 (WindowsPlayer x64) (x64) en-us ==============================

That mod isn't required anymore since KSP 1.5, part of stock game since then. For that reason, the mod hasn't updated anymore, probably incompatible now.

I also see endless error lines from CollisionFX in your log file. Latest release of this mod is for KSP 1.6, probably incompatible now as well.

As @Galileo already said, a list of your mods would be helpful, can you upload the ModuleManager.log as well as it contains the version information.

Just removed take command. I want to apologise about providing an old output.log from last month, when i still used CollisionFX. I then tried to find the new one, but i could not locate it. I did find the ModuleManager log though:

My GameData folder looks like this:

You also have Module Manager for 1.8, not 1.7.3.

Seems OP had uploaded an old log file from last month, he might actually have 1.8.x. Awaiting current log files now...

Yes, i am on 1.8 as i have the new parts, but i cant find a current log file. The one under /Appdata/LocalLow/Squad/Kerbal Space Program is from 1.7.3. Has the directory changed or has KSP stopped logging?

Since 1.8, afaik, the Windows log file is named now player.log

The sticky post should maybe updated with this, output.log up until 1.7.3, Player.log starting with 1.8., if I'm not mistaken.

This is what it looks like by the way. The other effects like clouds are working fine.

That looks perfectly normal. Whats missing?

SVE is just clouds and Scatterer atmospheric scattering effects.
