How to "use other node" (or upside down) when attaching with kas?

Well I'm trying to build a new craft from spare parts in orbit. However I have a lot of trouble to actually make this craft "complete". Everything is attaching neatly, except for the last engine. The engine simple will not attach in the correct direction

Rotating (using wasd) would just rotate it "around the attachment node". (so 180 degrees puts it inside the tank). How would I rotate the engine so it "flips"?

I'm unsure if this is the right forum, sorry if it is wrong, but I'm not sure if this is a KIS or KAS or other problem.

You're in a reasonable place - though this is technically a KIS issue, so you could put it directly in the KIS thread, so that would be the best place.

As for what you're trying to do: In the KIS tooltip you'll note that it says '[R] to change node'.  That's the option you're looking for: Currently you're attaching via the bottom attachment node, and you want to attach via the top attachment node.
