Liquid Fuel Engines Won't Turn On

No matter what I do, anything that does not run on solid fuel will not run. Not even with rockets that other people made. They just don't turn on. Pls help I can't play the game without liquid engines. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it did not work

The first thing to check is that you know about the throttle. (wiki link)  You need to raise (open) the throttle for liquid engines to run.

On PC the left-Shift and (left)-Alt keys raise and lower the throttle.  The letter keys at the lower left, 'Z' and 'X' on English-style keyboards, set it quickly to 100% and 0%

Liquid fuelled engines (rockets and jets) are throttle controlled, if you set the throttle to zero then they won't produce any thrust. Solid rockets don't have this and will burn at full power until their fuel runs out.

Are you new to the game?

Then you are using solid boosters until now, which can be turned on by pressing space bar. BUT for liquid fuel engines you need to 1) Turn them on 2) Give them liquid fuel.

You can use space bar to turn them on (or right click on it, and press the Activate button), and to give them fuel use the Z key, it will throttle up to the max

Z: Throttle up to maximum

X: Throttle down to zero.

Left shift: Throttle up increasely

Left Control: Throttle down decreasely

 

Of course, if this is not a weird bug you are experiencing...
