I've been working on updates to this mod but they aren't ready yet and I don't know when they'll be ready, my schedule has been all over the place for the past few years and honestly I really don't want to be redirecting traffic. The original mod STILL WORKS with the latest version of KSP (at least it did the last time I checked).

seems to support more cockpits, esp windows being "not hard black",  seems to be the "one to use" I tried both, I'm on KSP 10.1 in RSS/RO/RP1

yeah, but everything stated in the OP, as well as the Github repo state & look like *no changes* were made to the original... which makes me thin this is just a re-host at this point vOv

and the original is still available... so... whats the point of this one again? vOv

the only difference I see stated in the OP for cockpits supported, is the F-104... *which is included in the old release*

As far as I can tell, this one doesnt have the F-104 cockpit

I'm making new stuff but life's not going well and I'm not getting enough time to sit down and concentrate on something like a ksp mod.

I'm currently working on new textures but this I cannot give you an ETA
