For me it's worse!

Believe me, I've done everything easy to solve the issue,

The problem is for me, that hp doesn't have new drivers,

the windows ones are quite newer, but the latest doesn't seem to work.

with directx 12 it works most of the time, dx 11,9 crash immedeatly, dx 12

glcore not so far

Can you tell how to get newer drivers for hp laptop 250 g7? - As the drivers seem to be the problem

Hi all, I do not know if this question is still relevant, but I will share a method I was able to cope with this problem. I read this thread and noticed the mention of the file aticfx64. I also had to play version 1.7.3 on a laptop with an AMD APU and a HD 8750M discrete graphics card. Since the built-in video core is switched to Legacy, it is not possible to update the driver. It was possible to solve this problem by playing games via embedded graphics card, but I was not happy with it for obvious reasons. Some time ago I experimented with different versions of Windows and found that KSP and other Unity games run and work correctly on 8.1. But I didn't want to sit on 8.1 for a couple of games so I went back to 10. However, I still had a backup of the drivers from 8.1 and decided to take the aticfx64 file from there. I replaced it in windows/system32 in safe mode and KSP worked. Also I ran UBOAT but I can't test Subnautica because I don't have it.

Thank you so much! it has completely solved the driver issues i was having. tested and works on windows 10 with 7670M + 8650G combo. finally I can play KSP without going borderless window with the discrete GPU! :D
