Here you go, I also added a speeded up video reproducind the issue. Hope you can find something. Thanks dude.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1P3vXtjSBTCbS7QO21hN4OdMZYoR3yV2l?usp=sharing

I made this test, WITHOUT TweakScale installed.

And I got the same results, only a very few parts are Stackable. And some Stock parts (as the Go-ob ED Monitor) could not even be placed on the KIS container.

So, nope. This is not on TweakScale - this need to go back to the KIS Maintainer.

And below the same test but with TweakScale and TweakScale Companion for KIS installed:

sFXIlus.png

You see, whatever was not Stackable without TweakScale, continue to be not Stackable. And whatever was Stackable without TweakScale, continued to be Stackable when I installed it.

However, this was not a waste of time - you warned up that I need to update the KISConfig with the TweakScalerKISInventory module!

For now, update that patch to

@KISConfig:AFTER[KIS]:NEEDS[TweakScaleCompanion_KIS]
{
	@StackableModule
	{
		moduleName = TweakScale
		moduleName = TweakScalerKISInventory
	}
}

It will not solve your issue, but it will prevent the TweakScalerKISInventory to be a problem when things start to work for you.

I did my own checkings without Tweakscale & Tweakscale Companion and indeed  there's a problem with the KIS code, same happened to me. I went a bit further though. Cause then I thought I could swear I saw KAS parts stackable when I did some initial tests. I went in without mods, only with a few visual and harmles ones, and I discovered that a few more parts were stackable! Just by disabling some of my few mods. I will report this to the KIS thread in the next couple of hours and I encourage you to go check it out and give a lil support please.

Thank you for your time @Lisias, I'll update my patch until the next release is out!

Does one of the flavors of Companion allow rescaling of the TACLS hex containers?  I just pulled up an older craft design where I'd rescaled them and they are not rescaled now so I dropped the ball upgrading something.

TAC Life Support was previously supported, but current patches (still) embedded on TweakScale are deprecated, so it will not be maintained anymore - so any changes on the TACLS weren't implemented (neither will) on it. But updated (with support for legacy versions) patches are on the backlog, to be tackled down as time allows.

There's a Companion on the cooks for updated patches for Life Support and Health add'ons (what includes TACLS), but works on it will start only in a week or two, now that I finally am getting some time to breath on Job.

https://github.com/net-lisias-ksp/TweakScaleCompanion_FitAndHealth

I have some other older tasks on the backlog, but this one will be worked first for sure.

TweakScale Companion for Visuals  0.0.1.0 ALPHA is on the wild. Adds support for Waterfall and works with TweakScale 2.4.5.x series and newer.

First Public Release, Alpha Status, not ready for "production"

Known Issues:

  • The plume's scaling is reset to the original size when Reverting to Launch.
    • There's something I still didn't understand on the ModuleWaterfallFX's life cycle, as it appears
    • Launching from Editor and loading Savegames works fine (at least, until now... :sticktongue:).

Download here or in the OP.

Yep!

But, just to make it clear, TweakScale is just scaling what is being made by WaterfallFX, ok? ;)

WaterfallFX was already applying the heat distortion to Junos. I'm just scaling it once you scale the Juno!

In 1.12 i'm getting a really strong logspam in VAB with Waterfall and Tweakscale Companion for it. Repro steps: you have Tweakscale, Tweakscale Companion Visuals, Waterfall, and engines with Waterfall plumes(Dangerous Systems and Near Future Propulsion in my case, but it seems that any will fit). Add them in VAB and enjoy logspam, the two last exceptions repeat indefinitely, so my log became like 80mb weight. But in flight it's all OK, logspam stops and plumes are scaling correctly.

I don't think this is related to TweakScale or the Companion, sorry (would be, you could consider it fixed).

On a near clean install, (TweakScale, Waterfall, Waterfall Stock Effects and the Companion for Visuals), TweakScale didn't got any Exceptions. Not a single one.

Please publish your full KSP.log so I can try to figure out who is borking on your case.

Scrap that.

I had installed Waterfall for ReStock by accident, not the package for Stock. Once I installed the correct Waterfall support (StockWaterfallEffects), exceptions started to blow up everywhere.

Apparently, KSP 1.12 screwed up royally something on the Add'On loading mechanism. I expect the breakage to be somewhat nasty, a lot of triangular dependencies (essentially what the Companions are) should suffer from this problem. Damn.

I'm trying to diagnose this problem

Before KSP 1.12, the part.Modules were being initialized before the OnStart event. On KSP 1.12, This is not happening anymore. So, it's not safe to check this.part.Modules on OnStart anymore, and I expect a lot of problems on the wild due this stunt. Until KSP 1.11, the this.part.Modules apparently was being filed after OnAwake and before OnStart.

Oh well... It could be worst, I think. At least I know my trade and could detect this mishap.

Announce!

TweakScale Companion for Visuals  0.0.2.0 ALPHA is on the wild. Adds support for Waterfall and works with TweakScale 2.4.5.x series and newer.

Rework the Initialisation procedures to cope with new KSP 1.12 idiosyncrasies.

Hello! When i change the size of antennas of NF Exploration the power of antennas don't change.

did you have TSC for NF installed?

If not, install it and see if it solves the problem. If it didn't, please advise so I will revise the patches on TSC-NF . It’s some time since I inspected it.

Where was these patches? On the Companion? If they were on the Companion, it's something I need to investigate...

In a way or another, great you solved it!

No, they were in the NFEX, at the patches folder. Something related with remotech tech system of antenna power.

Issues

There is one. KSP 1.12.2, Waterfall 0.6.7, Waterfall-Restock, Stock Waterfall Effects, Tweakscale 2.4.5.1, Tweakscale Companion Visuals 0.1.0.0, plumes are not scaled and Kerbal Object Inspector doesn't see the companion's module on engines. Seems to not be a problem of plume patches, because even custom engine with custom plume doesn't get scaling. Log - https://disk.yandex.ru/d/5VvekiqL0G20SQ

Seems to not be a problem of plume patches, because even custom engine with custom plume doesn't get scaling. Log - https://disk.yandex.ru/d/5VvekiqL0G20SQ

Yep, I just detected that myself yesterday trying to do some fancy screenshots on my first pure leisure time on KSP 1.12.2 . I ended up reverting temporarily to SmokeScreen (did you knew Waterfall can reuse SmokeScreen's configs? Pretty handy!).

I will tell you the true, I should be working on the ScaleExponents right now - but I'm currently more on the mood for some coding, so I will give this a try tonight. :)

Also - if you use a previous version of companion, it mostly works, module appears, plumes of engines scales(sometimes no RCS) - but produces logspam in VAB exactly like in my previous report. Hope it helps - and i wish you luck!

Announce!

TweakScale Companion for Visuals  0.1.0.1 BETA is on the wild. Adds support for Waterfall and works with TweakScale 2.4.5.x series and newer.

  • Short circuiting some Dependency Checks due a new misbehaviour introduced by KSP 1.12.2

Known Issues:

  • The plume's scaling is reset to the original size when Reverting to Launch.
    • And yeah, I didn't managed to have time to work of this issue yet. :(
      • Spent the whole night chasing ghosts, as the problem was on KSP itself and not on something I did.

Download here or in the OP.
