Fastest to Land on the VAB

The idea is simple.

Use only stock parts to safely land on the VAB as fast as possible. No cheating, of course.

My fastest time is 20 seconds. I think you can beat that.

Leaderboard:

dnbattley - 5 seconds

Klapaucius - 17.5 seconds

Petabyte - 20 seconds

This is very similar to this challenge. Does this craft have to be manned? Does it need to land intact? does it have to hit the helipad, or just the VAB?

If it needs to land intact, then that makes the two challenges quite different and good compliments to each other.

Technically this is not a land is a crash!

But it's nice anyway!

@Petabyte If the core techniques (KAL glitch, k-drive) of that challenge are still valid for this challenge then I'm pretty sure I could actually land a less "explode-y" vessel within a few seconds of my previous best but somewhat "explode-y" time.

Hey, uhh @Petabyte... It wasn't me that landed on the VAB in 5 seconds, I haven't even attempted it! It was @dnbattley!
