My first home computer was an Atari 400. In high school we used Commodore PETs, and a teletype terminal that consumed vast quantities of paper. My first car used gasoline with lead (yes, the poison) added so it would run smoother.

The Apple 2 and 3 were what I used for my first paid programming job. I remember when that workplace splurged on an upgrade from floppies to hard drives. The 5 MB hard drive cost nearly $10K USD adjusted for inflation, and was as large as the 2 floppy drives shown in your picture.
