All of my parts show up black when I drag them out of the VAB catalog

When I drag a part out the catalog it turns black and is the same during flight. I have no mods and I just installed it from steam. When I verify integrity of game files it says  failed to validate and will be reacquired or files successfully validated. I've uninstalled and installed but nothing has changed. I changed the graphics to the minimal and my graphics card is fairly new.

-Fixed it nvm.
