My Game stops responding when DLC definitions show

Whenever I open my game recently it just stops responding and stays unresponsive. It used to work before and I wanted to play it again recently does anyone know how I can fix this on my windows laptop steam version?

In the KSP folder (you'll find it under steam/steamapps/common/Kerbal Space Program) there should be a file called KSP.txt, that's the KSP log file. Open that file and look for errors, exceptions or warnings (ERR, EXC or WARN).

You should also try looking in C/users/your name goes here/appdata/locallow/squad/KSP for a file called Player.txt and/or output_log.txt, those are fuller logs that contain more information. If you see any errors/exceptions in there, upload the files somewhere (dropbox, google docs etc.) and then post a reply here with a link to those files.

Some more information that will be helpful: What KSP version are you playing on? Did it update recently? Are you using any mods? (I expect you aren't since you posted in the unmodded section, but you never know...)
