Some follow-up notes:

1) PVG shows warning when you select inclination that is lower than launch site's. Just ignore it, rocket will fly normally.

2) If you use a mod that adds boiloff to cryofuels (like BDB and CryoTanks), note that some upper stages won't be able to endure full flight, notably BDB Centaur D. In this case, use non-cryogenic apogee kick stage or satellite's own engines.

3) Using solid motors is perfectly viable and quite fun. BDB has quite a selection of those. Limit thrust to achieve a low TWR (0.3 - 0.5, or even lower) - this would help to control burn. BDB SRMs can be turned off - use it. Be sure to include secondary RCS engines for fine tuning (BDB IUS has these built-in, and there is a Burner kit available for Star series).

4) Decouplers can and will screw your final orbit, so limit their force.

I know there is a protocol for reporting bugs, but I think this one is fairly straight forward.    At the bottom/top of 67P there is a texture error, part of the ground is just glitched.

Hi again, new separate thing.   I installed sigma binary, which you don't see above, and as far as I can tell Charon still orbits Pluto.    I looked at the file and Charon has a binary section at the top but not Pluto, is that expected?

Hi again again.  Same mods but with Sigma Binary and Kopernicus expansion.     Also Parallax.    I don't seem to be getting any foot prints on any of the moons or bodys.   Parallax also doesn't seem to be giving off beautiful reflections.  I went to Pluto which seemed like a prime canidite for reflections but when I looked down I was disappointed because instead of something like this:

So in summary, I seem to be having some problems with my install.    Foot prints are missing on the moon and most other places.    I think the moon should definitely have foot prints but for me it doesn't.  Any one know how I could fix them?

I'm using KSRSS with Sigma Dimensions for the 2.5x scale along with the latest version of Scatterer, EVE, Kopernicus, Planetshine, DOE, and Parallax and I'm getting a flat pink texture on the moon when Parallax is installed. I have seen some past posts in this thread and in the Parallax thread with no real resolution to the issue. Has anyone experienced this lately and if so could you point out steps to resolve the issue. I suspect it has something to do with the textures bundled withe KSRSS but I'm not sure.

KSRSS is NOT compatible with parallax , They're still working on an update to make KSRSS compatible with parallax , Just delete it and you're ready to go .

Parallax support isn't complete AFAIK.  There appear to be some textures missing.

Also as orbital says above, you need older version of kopernicus

I noticed that footprints from kop expanded work when you do a fresh reload but not after changing flight scene

This will be some sort of install issue. Without knowing what/how you have things installed, I'll take a wild guess. KSRSS comes in a zip file called KSRSS-megapack.zip. Inside the zip you'll find a folder called KSRSS, it's that folder that needs to be copied into the GameData folder, such that you end up with GameData\KSRSS. If that's how you already have it, then you might need to post a picture of your GameData folder, or your complete log file, as those would give more info.

I found what was causing the texture glitch, my stupidity.  I just installed wrong and now it seems to be fixed.
