Deployable Science: One Per Planet or One Per Biome?

I haven't seen this answered yet (and yessir, I've looked)…  Can you set up multiple deployable science stations on the same body (presuming they're in different biomes) to maximize your dribbles of science?  

 

Or rather - I know you can... but is there a benefit to hauling all that junk and my engineer to various places to set up multiple stations on each planet / Mun / moon?

I'm pretty sure it's once per planet, but I haven't actually gotten as far as testing it yet.
