The sand castle appeared on the starting page!

I just played KSP and when I logged in, it displayed the sandcastle on the main screen. It is considered an Easter egg because I think it has a 1/40 change of appearing. Let me know if you ever saw it in your game and do you have a screenshot of it? Here is my screen shot.

Ive seen the sandcastle 4 or 5 maybe 6 times since version .21.

I never had the Mun scene at the start. It was always main three above Kerbin.

Sometimes the Mun happened when I was going to the main menu from the save/options, but without the castle.

I just played the game and got it again. Now thinking that it is not so rare LOL

It would technically be a ‘regolith’ castle, but ok. Also, i have seen it a few times

I got KSP in 1.3, and while I have no way to verify the count, I would guess at least 3000 hours.

If the castle has ever appeared for me, I didn't see it.  So it's still just an urban legend to me...

It’s not all that rare, 1 in 40 chance. I haven’t ever seen it, maybe because I don’t snoop around in the title screen much.

I saw it today . I have 300 ish hours it appeared  after I put a lander on minmus which was the first time I landed on a planetary body.

I remember seeing it first many years ago when it was first added.  Seen it pop up a good two dozen times in the intervening 7 or 8 years.  Then again, I used to play KSP at least once a day for years, so it probably is quite rare in reality.
