Receiving too much funds!

Can Somebody Please help? I started a new career and have several mods installed but my career contract reward payouts are wayy to much. I have the funds rewards set to 60%. Here's what happened...... 1) Started career with 10,000. 2) +1,344 funds advance for first contract 3) spent 1,460 on a simple probe. 4) performed the science on the launchpad and recovered my vessel. 5) received +1,460 for recovered vessel 6) received +2,496 for contract completion...... My ending Funds balance is now 19,600. I have started several new careers, but I always end up with WAYYY more funds than I should.

I started yet another career with contract funds reward set to default... still the same thing, but now I'm receiving a higher percentage

I cant read log rn but u can try to set to 0%?  And that mods you are using  try to launch with no mods if it still happens then its to game not to mods

You get funds for accepting contracts, then For completing steps of the contracts, then for completing the contract itself.

Frequently the steps add up to the total so it looks like you're getting 2x more than you should.

I understand that I get an advance and contract completeion.... I've been away from KSP for about a year and just came back and started a new career.. This is happening on a new career.

I'd need to check but I'm pretty sure that counts even if there's only one step.

Ah. I forgot one more thing. You actually got paid 4 times, not just 3.

For the contract:

Advance: 1344.
Completion: 2,496.
Goal, 3,840 funds.

YOU GET ALL THREE.

Then you get 1920 for being the first in the world (that world, of which you are the only occupant) to do science.

Note: I (re)learned this by checking the little notes in the messages window, in the upper right in flight and lower right in the Space Center scene.

The contracts window in mission control will tell you how much you’ll earn from all three stages- advance money they give you up front, rewards for each step in the contract (for example, measure temperatures at sites A, B and C will reward you separately for each site) and a final reward for completing all the individual tasks. Failing the whole mission will mean you have to pay the penalty fees but that only applies to the contract as a whole and not the individual tasks.

If you feel that you’re getting too much money, turn the funds multiplier down lower.
