How to get metalic and reflective textures

Hi I was just wondering? How do you get things to look metallic and reflective. I cant figure out how they work and how to use them so im stuck with trash looking stock ksp. someone please help. do I need a specific program or something. Thanks!!!

Hi Thanks! I got the mod and I also got tufx. adds great post processing.

However I don't know how to configure the shaders that come with the mod. if you could show me a quick tutorial that would be great!!!

FIxing it up to sound less agressive and more passive

Textures Unlimited Recolor Depot by @Manwith Noname should help. They provide color mapping which lets you change colors of parts. If you want to get more, then I suggest going after @Shadowmage. He’s the guy who made Textures Unlimited.
