Six worlds, one launch.

The mission: place a relay satellite around Jool and each of its moons in preparation for future missions, and as long as they're there, transmit as much science as possible back to KSC. And do it all in one launch because who has time to wait for multiple transit windows?

The vessel: Tenacity.

199 parts and 688 tons.

This took several days to build and test, with the help (and complaining and kibbitzing) of my fellow moderators. (Thanks, guys!)

The hardest part of the design: surviving aerobrake.

But survive it did and then began to deploy the moon probes.

And the mothership serves as their link to Kerbin.

Science was collected and transmitted from high and low orbit of all six worlds, for a total of 6,760 points.

I did not have a contract for the mission, but world first awards came to $904,000 against a ship cost of $420,000. So, made a profit.

This took about 5 days of real time and in Kerbal time, 3 years and 300 days.

And all six craft remain on station to serve as relays for future missions. And actually, they can still generate more science as they pass over more biomes and take gravioli readings, but that's just for abstract points since the mission allowed me to finish the tech tree.

Thanks for reading. :)

I feel so bad for the rest of the mods that you enlisted asked to help...

Well, not so much asked as incessantly complained in the mod chat until we felt the urge to contribute meaningful insights regarding the quality of the original design ;)

Great job, Van, the Jool5 is no easy task!
