Prologue

After Years of the Space Shuttle, The Lyra Program is Announced to Send Humans to the Moon and Mars, Utilizing 2 Launch Vehicles, The Athena 1 and Athena V

The HLV, Athena V Uses 5 Mainsail Engines alongside 2 SRBs on the Side for the First Stage, The Second Stage (EDS) Uses 1 UR-2x Engine for EOI and TLI.

NASA Has announced a Mars Sample-Return Mission, The Hermes Mission is to be done in 2 Launches, The MLAV (Mars Lander and Ascent Vehicle) is due to be launched in 2019 and one week Later the ERO Will Launch (Earth Return Orbiter)

The MLAV will be Launched on a Athena V while the ERO on a Ghidorah Heavy, This Mission will return the first Real Martian Soil as the Only way we have Observed Mars's Surface here is through Martian Meteorites and Probes. A Verification of the System will be test during the MOPSAR (MOon Pole SAmple Return) Mission in 2016 which will Launch on the Muo V 541, The Next Planned NASA Launch is Crux-CDM which will be in 2 Months. In other NASA News, The Launch Date of the Demeter Orbiter has its Launch Date Confirmed, It will be Launching on December 12th 2015 on the Muo V 541.

Altair 1 begins its descent to a simulated abort situation, at 6km CDR Ralph Cook and PLT Kathryn Hicks will trigger the abort motor and lift back to the orion.

Altair 1 soon loses contact with Houston for an unknown reason, 48hrs later the Crew of Altair 1 is presumed dead.

An inquiry reveals that Ralph Cook accidentally programmed the system wrong which would've triggered the abort motor before impact. due to the Accident being caused by a Human error, not Hardware or Software error, All other altair missions are still on schedule.

MIS Henry Harris begins his journey back to Earth, but he refuses...

"Henry, You have a girlfriend and you are only 28. Don't through your life away."

"When I was assigned to this mission, I took an oath. If Hicks and Cook died. I wouldn't return and that's final"

Henry Ceases transmissions and de-orbits the Crux. Henry is celebrated as an Astronauts' hero and dies a martyr of some sort.

Rest in Peace the crew of Crux-9.

You served valiantly and proud.

(2022-2030 will be apart of a different MR, "The Age of Exploration")
