Help on RP-1 and realism overhaul

Hello, ive been a kerbal space program player for a few years now and ive decided to improve myself in the game and install Realism Overhaul and RP-1. However when the game is loading, once its done loading and its on loading expansions, it suddenly stops and never gets to the starting page. I play KSP on version 1.8.1 and it would be great if some of the people on forums help me out.

Did you follow the installation guide on the RP-1 github wiki verbatim?

Well ive downloaded it manually, so ill try to download it via ckan now. Ill tell you if it worked or not.
