KSP 1.10 crashes on launch and I think it has something to do with the update message

Recommended Posts

When I launch KSP 1.10, after it has finished loading there will be some text that I can dismiss regarding the latest update. If I don't dismiss it quickly enough, KSP crashes back to desktop (once it even crashed Windows 10 completely). There is not enough time for me to select "don't display this message again" and dismiss the text before it crashes. Is there some way I can manually set the update message not to show again so I don't have this issue?

Have you tried changing the resolution and windowed/fullscreen from the game or the settings file?Or even the UI Scale,

Maybe then you will have enough time to check that mark.

For the resolution is something like that and there must be a way to force a windowed mode by putting launch commands on steam or in .exe or at least Alt+Enter, dunno.

Open the settings.cfg file in your KSP directory and change the following lines:

SCREEN_RESOLUTION_WIDTH = 1920

SCREEN_RESOLUTION_HEIGHT = 1200
