As for hardware configuration, console ID, software purchases and IP address - pretty much everything (including your browser) that connects to the internet provides that information (except the software purchases... but thats probably if you use Rockstar Social or something)

You've lost me. You are handing that information over if you give them your bank details for purchases etc. You have to give them (and anyone else you buy from) that information to complete the purchase.

So your issue is that they put in the T&Cs that they collect that info? If they didn't mention it you'd just hand the data over willingly? (and BTW, they have to tell you they are collecting it, due to Data Protetion reasons)

I see several problems in this thread. There's a lot of speculation. A lot of fear mongering. I have yet to read anywhere where it says T2 will sell your information to third parties. Just that it will collect the data sent and use it in response to requests that you make. And if you do something illegal, you forfeit your privacy. I could've glossed over something, though. 

There seems to be a lot of posts from a small number of people. This, in itself, is not a problem, but those that are freaking out wanting T2 to do something about it are not really achieving the effect of "representing" the majority of players.

Occam's Razor is the first principle by which you should judge an idea. Lots of people are privacy-insensitive. Wrongly, I think. We know that at least one of the posters is just a normal dude, and I happen to disagree with him on this issue, but I will happily continue to donate to his Patreon.

KSP management has done several things the wrong way, for YEARS--I'd classify this as only the THIRD most significant ETHICAL snafu in my memory.

Most importantly, conspiracy theory will get the thread locked.

Take Two can access your banking information... Banking information contains your social security number. Take Two can also access emails, zip codes, and such. Take two has the ABILITY to find me if I'm online send a representative to me and address me with my full name if they wanted to. That is too much

The "words" on the left of the coloumns are the variable names, the values on the right are their, well values.

Does ANY of it look like personal info at all to you?  It's written out in English.
