Coordinates.

Recommended Posts

You can use KerbNet, that displays you the coordinates of the position of the cursor. From there you can put a waypoint onto a suitable position, which you can then target from the map screen. That will give you a marker on the navball for the direction in which the selected waypoint is.

If you're using KSP 1.10 (or possibly 1/9? I can't remember exactly when this feature was added) you can use the 'set position' cheat to teleport yourself to any point on any planet or moon you like- the only problem is that the game will give you co-ordinates in degrees-minutes-seconds whereas the set position cheat uses decimal values, so it's a bit of guesswork to get vaguely close then tweak the numbers a bit to get closer, or find a conversion site on the internet and use that to get the numbers you need.

Besides all the direct answers to the question that you have been given, it is also possible to find all the easter eggs without cheating. The KerbNet functionality that all probe cores have will eventually show you the locations of all of them, if you are patient and spend hours watching the display. In fact, there is one easter egg per CB that is in a random location, and the only way you will find it is to use Kerbnet.
