smol batteries

I wish there were smaller batteries than the Z-100 (maybe 25?).  For small probes, the probe core itself often has too little EC for my comfort, but the Z-100 is enormous both in size and capacity, and since I often end up putting two of them for symmetry it ends up being no better than the Z-200 (which is really tall relative to its diameter, so I don't like using it).  Especially now that we have smaller RCS, the Z-100 just sticks out like a sore thumb and it's getting harder to resist the temptation to clip it.

Another option would just be to add more EC to the probe cores.

Near Future Exploration has a small battery in it, as do RLA Reborn, SSR Microsat and OctoSat, though the latter two are designed to fit their respective satellite styles and so don’t match stock parts that well. If you can’t/won’t use mods, just use the Z100 or Z200 and clip them inside the probe core.

Well recently we've gotten a bunch of smaller versions of parts in stock: RCS, AGU, lights.  Seems to me batteries are kinda the odd one out now.  I'm not totally opposed to mods or part clipping, but a stock part would be better.

Besides, just imagine the ~5 kg mass savings!

Nah, the Z-100 and Z-400 have been around for a while, but they are huge on tiny probes.  Not just ugly, but crazy big for what they are compared to some of the other small parts.  And they have more electric charge than I really need necessarily (considering that probe cores often have like 5 EC built in, and since they radially attach, you might want to put 2 of them on for symmetry -- I want something in between 5 and 200).

Of course you can always clip them, but I don't really like clipping parts completely away so you can't even access them anymore, but that's what I'm always tempted to do with these batteries on small probes.

NFEX has some teeny 25ec batteries. Also small reaction wheels.
